About Us

The West Bend Lioness Lions Club is affiliated with Lions Club International, the largest service organization in the world whose motto is "We Serve".

Lion's International was founded in Chicago, IL in 1917, by businessman Melvin Jones. Since its inception, it has been dedicated to helping those less fortunate in their communities and around the world. In 1925 Helen Keller challenged the members to be "knights of the blind".

May 2020 - West Student of the Month

Kelsi Knoll is the West Bend West High School Lioness Lion Student of the Month for May 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as lacrosse, tennis, Interact, National Honor Society and Student Council.

In addition, Kelsi has been an active volunteer at Enchantment in the Park, school blood drives, highway cleanup and other activities through Interact.

Kelsi has maintained a 3.77 GPA while having a highly demanding and rigorous class schedule including 4 AP classes and 5 Honors classes.

May 2020 - East Student of the Month

Megan Rebholz is the West Bend East High School Lioness Student of the Month for May 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as, NHS, Key Club, Psychology Honor Society, Washington County Medical Explorers, varsity gymnastics for four years/captain senior year, varsity track for four years, and volleyball.

In addition, Megan has been an active volunteer at Casa Guadalupe, Full Shelf Food Pantry, and two mission trips through Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

April 2020 - West Student of the Month

Frankie Breit is the West Bend West High School Lioness Lion Student of the Month for April 2020. He has been active in extracurricular activities, such as, Drama Troupe, High School Musicals such as We Will Rock You, SkillsUSA as Vice President, and a member of local theatre companies.

In addition, Frankie has been an active volunteer at West Bend School District Elementary
Schools through Drama Troupe as well as various events for St. Mary’s Parish.

April 2020 - East Student of the Month

Kendra Buss is the West Bend East High School Lioness Lion Student of the Month for April 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as, Volleyball, Basketball, and Dolphins.

In addition, Kendra has been an active volunteer at St. John's Lutheran School and helped with junior suns programs throughout the summer and additional high school athletics opportunities.

Kendra has maintained a 3.2 GPA while having a highly demanding and rigorous class schedule including 3 AP classes and 2 Honors classes.

March 2020 - West Student of the Month

Jada Williams is the West Bend West High School Lioness Lion Student of the Month for March 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as West Varsity Dance, Dolphins Synchronized Swim, West Girls Track and Field, National Honor Society, French Club, Peers 4 Peers, and Youth Impact Club.

March 2020 - East Student of the Month

Hannah Dolinar is the West Bend East High School Lioness Lion Student of the Month for March 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as, Irish dance and tennis.

In addition, Hannah Dolinar has been an active volunteer at Beglan Academy of Irish Dance.

Hannah Dolinar has maintained a 3.85 GPA while having a highly demanding and rigorous class schedule of 5 AP classes and 8 Honors classes.

February 2020 - West Student of the Month

Lauren Chamberlain is the West Bend West High School Lioness Student of the Month for February 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as, the Swim Team, Dolphins Synchronized Swim Team, Key Club, Forensics, Global Scholars, Model United Nations, National Honor Society, S.E.E.D., and Youth Impact Club.

February 2020 - East Student of the Month

Abby Gawrych is the West Bend East High School Lioness Lion Student of the Month for February 2020. She has been active in extracurricular activities, such as East Varsity Volleyball, Newspaper Club, National Honors Society, and the NAMI Ending the Silence Program.

In addition, Abby has been an active volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Mary’s Church with over a total of 176.5 volunteer hours.

Abby has maintained a 3.96 GPA while having a highly demanding and rigorous class schedule, including 11 AP classes and 8 Honors classes.
